This Is Going to Be a Busy Fall!!!

You are cordially invited - ok, maybe we're just saying you HAVE to come - to our annual Stewardship event. This is an opportunity to hear and respond to an invitation to participate in the life and care of Trinity Lutheran Church. We NEED everyone to be a part of the Kingdom of God through Trinity Lutheran.

The Stewardship Board has put together this Evening Celebrating the Ministries of Trinity Members, highlighting talents and gifts of members, as well as inviting you to pledge support and participation for the coming year. Part of the featured events for that evening is a Trinity Cookbook Potluck, featuring recipes from that book. If you don't have one, or lost it, or it died a tragic death in a bizarre cooking incident, we will make copies of selected recipes available for you to use. We are also highlighting talents and hobbies of Trinity Members, so if you have something to share (see Flo Arnold to set up a table) or just want to see what other people are up to, PLEASE COME!!! (See the enclosed flyer for further information)

New Member Class
We have scheduled this for Sunday, October 26th from 2-6 p.m. To transfer your membership from another Lutheran Church, from another denomination, or become a first-time church member, this is what you need to attend. Dinner is provided.

Harvest Festival
Please notice the flyer included in the Caller - This is a wonderful opportunity for outreach and a presence in the community, church, and school. Plan to bring your kids/-grandkids/-relatives/-neighborhood. Saturday, October 25th from noon - 4:30pm.

Confirmation Youth News
We have received a wonderful gift in this area of the congregation's ministry. Our own Caren Johnson, a student at Azusa Pacific University, has offered to  be our Youth Intern for this semester. She will be helping with the 6-7th grade confirmation class and many other youth activities. Thank You, Caren!

By the way, classes have begun, so if your child is in 6th-8th grade, he/she should be attending if confirmation is desired. This session of Confirmation runs from September 24th through November 19th on Wednesday nights. We are considering a Field Trip (oooh!) to see the new Martin Luther Film. Details to follow.
