Starting at the Cross, Touching the Heart

By the time you read this, our Fall Stewardship Event will have passed into history, we trust as another successful gathering of God's Faithful Trinity People. And there is little doubt that it will have been successful: we have fully a third more people signed up to come than who came to previous events; we have innovative plans for the program that people are excited about; AND we're serving food. What more could one possibly want? Or need?

Still, some of you (and you know who you are) were unable to come. Does this mean you're excluded from the wonderful opportunities prepared for Trinity members to participate in God's work here in this great church? Or does it mean that you won't be able to contribute to the support and maintenance of this church? Umm, no (not that you actually thought you were getting away with anything!).

It should go without saying that we need EVERYONE to be involved in ministry here (I know, I said it anyway). Each one of us has unique gifts, talents and are "differently abled" to serve God through the ministries of Trinity. In love, working together toward the goals of bringing the gospel to the world, providing schools that nurture and develop the minds and spirits of the children entrusted to us, we are a powerful and amazing part of the Body of Christ. It takes all of us to accomplish this.

So... as we are touched, changed and called to faith by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, we respond in joy to the call to ministry. We ask that you support the ministry financially, growing in your committment as you are blessed, and that you participate in our time and talent surveys. We PROMISE that we will invite you to serve.

Thank you for responding in grace, love and faith,

Pastor Larry
